| Aria Pro II 1980's made RS-600H w/Paul Read Smith PUs I got this guitar several months ago. It was pretty bad condition. The PUs are damaged. The Humbuckers are only work one side only. The tuner was damaged. Also the neck behind has a paint cracked... I have been looking for the replacement PUs for a long time. However, I gave up. The PU is plastic solid type, we could not touch the inside. Anyway, I have put the Paul Read Smith Pick Ups instead. The Tuner is new Gotoh. Other parts are almost original. The neck is straight now. The truss rod is adjustable. I, a bit, fasten now. The frets are proper condition, No need to change or leveling now. The neck behind was repainted partly. It is O.K. for playing now. The electric circuits has been checked very well, when I change the Pus. Mostly original only Front PU petentiometer has changed to new one. The PUs are Paul Read Smith Vintage Bass and HFS. I bought them several years ago as my stock. Of course, very well PUs. I have played this guitar for several weeks. I like the tone of Neck/Single. The Mini switch can select the Humbucker/single. Other Mini switch is changing the phase when the PU selector is middle. The tone is pretty good. If you are looking for the good condition RS, this is not so bad! Well, let's try this Aria Guitar. It is alnost 30 years old !!! |
