| Aria Pro II 1980 (?) Mstsumoku made Les Paul Standard Model It is Matsumoku made Aria Les Paul. I'm not sure how I could read the serial of Aria well. It starts from 00, so I guess it should be 1980 made. The condition of this guitar is very good. There are no serious dents and scratches. When I got this guitar, only selector switch has a noise... I put electric lub spray, and it become pretty good. The neck is straight. I check the truss rod. Maybe, it is not adjusted before. I have only turn the nut whether it works or not. The neck is deep joint type with Screw. Matsumoku did for this construction in 70's their Les Paul. The frets are proper condition. No serious worn and dents. The grip of this neck is not really fat. It is almost like Gibson 60 made standard. I would say it is pretty good condition. The metal parts are not rusted. These are still fine. It is 4.4 Kg. As Les Paul STD, it should be standard weight. Moho body is 2PLY and 2-3P(I could not specify). Top is Maple 2P. The tone is pretty good. The pick up is their original. (not Dimarzio...many people just thinking all Aria Pro-II guitar have it as standard, very regretfully, these are only their top models) This PU was made by Nisshin Denpa..., I guess. Anyway, it is good tone. If you are looking for the good condition JV Les Paul, Well, let's try this Aria Guitar. It should be closed to 30 years old !!! |
