| The sound of SC is pretty cool. The alder body and Maple Neck (Rose FB) made a tight sound with long sustain. The SC was made from 1977 to 1982. The time was just Fusion music era. The electric circuit of SC is similar with JEFF Beck’s Schecter Stratcaster or Brayan May’s Red Special. 3 mini switched (ON-OFF-ON) could provide you 13 kinds of pick-up selections. This SC-700 has a hard tail bridge, it could keep good tune for playing. The list price of SC-700 is JYE 70,000. It was middle class price guitar. We have done the basic cleaning for this guitar. It should be fine for 1977 made guitar. The neck is Maple 1P type has a bit tiger flame. The truss-rod is still fine, I would say Good conditions of Neck. The electric circuit is fine too. But we recommend you to change the Mini Switch and output jack to prevent the noise caused by aging. |
