| YAMAHA SG-2000 1981 Made MIJ JV This SG is 3rd generation SG-2000 which started from 1981. This is special color as Deep Purple. Yamaha announced that they produce this color 600 units. This is not complete original guitars. Previous owner said that PUs has been changed to Duncan. Them when he got it, he has change them to the PUs of Yamaha SG-1500 Well, it looks like OPG-I, probably the same PU with original old SG-2000. He has changed the PU mount rings too. This guitars has 1 hole type mount ring. Yamaha is only offering the black color replacement mount rings. He maybe like the white one. The condition of this guitar is great. There are not so many dent and scratches. Actually, I could rate this as MINT but I just use MINT- because of mount ring and Know indicator gone (well, both of them I could replace, but this is current situation) This SG hasn't got paint problem, the rust of metal parts aren't serious. The frets have a bit wear around low frets area, however, it is not serious for playing. Well, 27 years made the ware ! The neck, electric circuit are fine. Of course the sound is absolutely SG-2000 ! This guitar has the hard case but not original case. We will shipped with this case. Please enjoy Yamaha Vintage SG ! |
