| YAMAHA Stratocaster SR-700 This is very good condition SR-700, top of model of Yamaha Stratcaster. The Yamaha old catalog said this is 1P Sen (Japanese Ash) body.I have checked the body, It should be 1pc body. Well, I think it is very good wood. I have collected many Stratocaster, but, 1P body is very rare. If we ordered somebody to make it, it should be very expensive. The neck, frets and electric circuits are all good condition. The body has a bit dents but not really bad. This guitar is almost 30 years old guitar. Please do not expect brand new guitar. But it is enough condition even for your collection. The sound , it is very good. I don't know what is different between SR500 and SR700. The catalog said SR-700 has R-1 Pick up, SR-500 has R-III Pick up. I felt SR-700 is a bit fat sound compare with SR-500. Well, Try Yamaha Top Stratcaster model ! |
