YAMAHA Stratocaster SR-450S
This is second generation Yamaha SR. The specification are different from
70's Yamaha SR.
It is more closed to Fender Original stratcaster.
70's made SR has the Yamaha own designed single PUs. But this model has the standard single PUs such as
other JV manufacturers use.
Looks like 54 but the pickguard is 62 ... type. It is mixed looking.
The neck is standard C grip. Not really fat. The truss rod is adjustable
(I've grease up).
The neck is straight. But the clear paint has been peel off partly including
the peg head.
It is not effective for playing. However, if you are looking for the beautiful
guitar, I could not
recommend you to take this guitar.
The body should be SEN 2-3P. There are many scratched and dents. Please
refer the pictures.
The electric circuits are all original. I checked all. The PU cavity, pickguard
and PUs are all original too.
This SR has 5 way selector switch as original.
The metal parts are rusted. Specially, the bridge saddle is rusted. But
the screws of each saddle are
still adjustable.
Well, this is really JV guitar!
If you are looking for good JV, this should be your taste.
