| YAMAHA SR-450S Stratocaster This SR is probably made in 1983. 1970's made SR is slightly different from Fender Original Strat such as PU cavity. This SR is better replica. When I get this guitar, the previous owner modified the PG and it was cracked. Well, then, I replaced 1) Pick Guard 57 type 3 PLY tortoise 2) CTS potentiometers 3) Switch craft Output 4) Oak Grigsby 5 Way 5) New Inch size knobs. 6) New Belden wire 7) Orange Drop Capacitor It looks better and good sound too. The body material should be SEN (Japanese Ash) with Maple 1P neck. I think proper condition, but got a bit dents and scratches as shown. It is 3.58Kg. The neck is straight with standard C grip. The truss rod is adjustable (I have adjusted a bit). The frets are proper condition (no necessary to level now). The nut is a bit low, if you would like to change, please do it! I'm fine for this height. The metal parts are a bit rusted. The tone, it is pretty good. All new electric components make the original PU better! The original Tremolo arm and Gigbag (not original) will be shipped with this guitar. Please enjoy Yamaha Vintage SR |
