| ARIA PRO-II Cardinal Series CS-400 ARIA PRO-II made many original designed guitars such PE, RS and TS series. CS was mainly made for export business by ARIA. I'm no sure what is model number for export. They said that they named CS series after proper sales for overseas market. The main purpose of CS series guitar development is keeping the production number of Matsumoku factory. Therefore, this series is really mass production guitar at Matsumoku. This mass production also made the cost effectiveness. CS series has 2 modeling. CS-350 is bolt on neck type. CS-400 is set in neck type with carved top. The construction is almost like Gibson SG. I prefer set in neck type. When I get this guitar. I intend to use its parts for other guitars. However, after checking this guitar, I like this guitar pretty much. 1. Light weight 2. Pretty smooth slim neck 3. Easy Play for high fret position 4. Pretty good tone. not like SG I thought it depends on the arrangement of PU and circuits, this guitar become really good your friend. I have changed pick up. Now. Gotoh HB classic are installed. I put the 2 Mini Switch (Single/Hum). It is very good result. I could not believe this guitar was made as cost effective model. The body material is Ash or Chestnut, maybe 3-4P. I'm not sure this was made by which wood. The neck is maple with rose finger board. The nut is 43.4mm The weight is 3.53 Kg. I love this light weight. This guitar has the paint off at the left side refer to the picture. Well, it is this is highly recommended JV guitar. If you like to enjoy JV guitar, this should be first choice. The guitar will be sent with used gig bag. |
