El Maya Stratocaster SC-36 Model
El Maya guitar is one of my favorite JV guitar. It is very good construction.
I could say I love "Joodee", "El Maya", "Yamaki" and "John Bennet".
I have several El Maya Strat. El Maya has several Logo marks.
They have the Artist model and Junior model.
AS Artist model, El Maya offer the SCO-36. This model is top model of El Maya Stratocaster.
It has the metal pickguard. The electric parts are inch size. These are small head type.
They offered SC-36. This is large head model.
The Junior series are SC-33 and 35 series.
The different between SC-33/35 and 36 is neck construction.
36 type are 1P maple type finger board. 33/35 are bonded maple finger board.
The large head replica has the U grip neck like Fender USA late 70's type.
Anyway, this is El Maya Artist Large head type Strat.
This El Maya has C grip with 41.5 nut width. The neck is fine, but the paint of finger board
are partly peel off.
The body is probably Sen (Japanese Ash) 3P. The weight is 3.62 Kg
The body condition is not good. we could see many dents and scratches.
Electric circuits, PU and other parts are all original. Well only out put jack has been changed.
I have also changed the all screws around the bridge. Now, these are stainless made.
This is not collection guitar. Just play!!!
