YAMAKI Les Paul STD model YLP-450B

YAMAKI is a good acoustic manufacturer in 1970-80 time.
Their guitars were distributed by Dion (whole Seller).
They use the "Joodee" name too. But it should be a later production after Dyna Gakki stopped Joodee.
I'm not sure why Dyna stopped it. Well, Dyna is currently Fender Japan supplier.

Yamaki made many replica guitars. I mainly collect the Strat type.
Anyway, this is Yamaki made Les Paul. I think they transferred the good craftsman ship for this guitar
from their acoustic guitars experience.

According their old catalog, the body material is maple top and maho back.
The neck is Nato (Nyatoh) wood instead of Maho. Nato is similar wood with Maho. But they mostly came from
Philippines. The body weight is 4.3Kg, therefore, it is typical weight of Les Paul.

The sound is of this Les Paul is a but thin tone compare with other my stock, I feel.
It maybe came from tuner. This guitar tuner is original. Another stock has the Grover Tuner.
I think the weight of tuner made a bit heavy tone compare with original tuner.
Pick up is original. Well, this is almost original condition.

The body condition is fair as 30 year old guitar. Do not expect beautiful guitar, anyway.
The bottom strap pin has been moved and the hole was repaired.

Well, it is good JV Les Paul model.
If you are looking for the Yamaki solid guitar, this is it!
We are going to ship this guitar with used Gig Bag.
