Morris Yoshino 1971 Made MA-B ES-175D model

Morris Gaitar is one of the brand name which Moridaira Musical instruments Co., Ltd is
distributing. Moridaira was established in 1965. Morris guitar was established in 1967.
As a guitar manufacturer and distributor, Morris was a bit late comer for the market.
However, they did very good promotion specially for acoustic guitar and made their company
foundation.

This guitar is made by Yoshino Gakki in 1971. So, it is 40 years old guitar.
Morris guitar was made by several sub-constructors such as Yoshino, Terada, even Fujigen made.
Yoshino Gakki was originally Nagano Gakki. Nagono Gakki was separated to both Morris Gakki and Kurosawa early 70's.
Well, therefore, this guitar is very early time Yoshino made Guitar.

The good replica of ES-175D model. Compare with 1959 Gibson, the outlooks are very similar.
The tuner and bridge are different from Gibson. But, generally it is cool.
I'm not sure the body material. It should be laminated top. The neck is probably Maho 1P.

The condition of this guitar is very good as 40 years old.
Very regretfully, the neck PU is not working now. So, I have asked our staff to change PU, Pot and switch
So, now tis guitar is good condition for playing (6th strings 5-6 fret buzz when low action set-up)

I never play the original ES-175D. Therefore, I could not comment so much about the tone.
I felt the resonance of body is good and warm tone !
