Ibanez Artist Series AR-105AV

I don't know the detailed about the current Ibanez guitar. Actually, no interest for me.
For me, Ibanez was the twin of Greco guitar made by Fujigen.
I could remember late 70's, Ibanez was suddenly starting the domestic distribution.
In my remember, Kanda shokai took their guitar with Tama Drum. A little bit later, Hoshino start the distribution directly for
domestic dealers. I don't know Kanda and Hoshino had an argument for sales agreement...

The first guitar, I saw it was solid body MC guitar. Looks like Greco Go series through neck construction.
But Ibanez was much better body shape than Greco. It gave us sort of design impact.
We knew Ibanez had a good sale in the States. Several magazine shoed their guitar such as Artist series.

This is made in 1981, AR-105AV. in 81, Hoshino started the direct sales for the dealer, I think.

Good designed guitar. The top material is not Maple, It should be the Burl Mahogany top.
The back is Nato (the catalog said). The weight is just like Les Paul, it is heavy around 5Kg.
The tone is closed to Les Paul, but more bright tone.
The neck grip is feel a bit wider/thin compare with Gibson Standard.

Pretty good and looks, I like. This guitar has a small paint problem at the top bottom. But it is not really bad.

Try this good MIJ guitar!
We will ship the guitar with used gig bag.
