Zen-On ZES-80T
Zen-On is actually publisher's distributor. They sold the music score book for
music store that day. These are mainly record shop too.
Anyway, they got a sales network, and tried to expand the sales and pickup the both
acoustic and electric guitars.
They are not manufacturer, so asked several guitar manufactures to make as OEM base.
This ZES is one of those guitar.
Yamaki guitar has strong relation ship with Zen-On. I guess it was acoustic guitars mainly.
ZES is probably like Teisco or others. I don't know detailed.
This is pretty tiny guitar. It has sort scale neck and weight is just 2.46Kg
3 pickups, these looks like Teisco Goldfoil type. The selector switches are button type.
These needs a bit maintenance (I would do it soon).
Well, the sound is pretty much like same era's Teisco.
The neck is fat. I measured the thickness of 12F position, it is about 30mm.
This guitar hasn't got the trass-rond function. But the neck are generally
fine to play.
I love the looks of this guitar.
