| Heerby Kasuga Type-1000 Stratocaster This is my third Heeby Stratocaster. When I got this guitar, the electric circuits and PUPs were broken down. However, the body and neck were pretty good condition. Therefore, I put the Fender Japan 80's pick up and brand new circuits on. As you may know, Heerby was made by Kasuga. Well, This is brother guitar of Yamaha SR series. However, please look at wood in use. It looks better wood and better cavity as replica. I put the new pick guard on. Well, some screws holes are fixed. Most of screws are changed to the new one, I think I have changed CTS, Oak and Switchcraft electric parts on. Of course, pick up covers and knobs are new one. It is looks like a new guitar!!! But this is pretty old body guitar. You could find out small dents and scratches. I don't know the reason that most of my overseas clients have been purchasing Fender Japan, Greco and Fernandes. Maybe, the brands name were much famous than Heerby Kasuga. However, Heerby, El Maya, Yamaki, Camel, Argus..... In late '70, we had many good quality Japanese made guitars. Please try Japanese Vintage guitar! |
