Fernandes Telecaster shape Bass TEB-70 Late 1980 Made
This bass was made in late 80's. So 25 years old around. Fernandes concentrated to produce the artist model that time.
One of them reason, here, we had a rock band booming that time.
This bass was made for Mr. Watanabe, the bassist of "Personz"
- Japanese Rock or Pop band.(I don't know so much)
I got this bass without the above detailed. I just felt it is good looking
and good design.
When I get this bass, the bridge, pick guard were broken. So, I left this bass for a long time.
Recently, I set it up again.
So, the pick guard are made by us. The bridge was replaced by Gotoh Brand New. Knobs, jack plate and strap pins are new.
I didn't touch the tuner, neck plate and circuit. It is pretty good looking.
The body is maybe Ash (Maybe 3P? No idea) and probably Maple 1P neck. I
could not find out the original catalog of this bass.
It is 4.38Kg weight. Well, the nut width is 42.2 mm with Fender scale neck.
The neck is ,of course, straight and truss rod is fine.
We can see small dents but not so serious. I should notice you under pick
guard, below neck pocket we could see paint crack.
It is under pick guard, anyway.
You could create many tones because of active PU function. It has Bass/Treble
and other (I could not specify the function).
From the Heavy to light tones, you could make it.
Well, if you like a bit different bass, this should be good choice.
We are going to ship this bass with used Gigbag (not original).
