Fernandes 1975 Kawai made Stratcaster model
This Fernandes strat is earlier Kawai production.
It has the bonded Maple Finger board and very heavy weight body with Silver
heart body in 2PLY 3 P body.
I think they refer the weight of Fender USA original that time.
When I got this guitar, the PUs are completely out of order.
Therefore, I have rebuilt as follows :
1) Pickgurad Mojotone Mint ST
2) Gotoh ST Classic Alpha X 3
3) Oak Grigsby 5 way switch
4) Switch Craft Out Put Jack
5) Sprugue Orange Drop Capacitor
6) Cloth wire used, Output wire are Belden Silver coated Copper.
Well, this guitar became a good condition guitar with good tone.
The body probably Sen (Japanese Ash) but looks like American Ash. The weight
is 3.83Kg.
The neck is 1P maple with 40.55 mm width nut. The gip is standard U.
The body has a bit dents and scratches but these are not really visible
with natural finish body.
Under Pick Guard, there are old screw holes (I fixed)
