GRECO SE-500 1981 Sept. Fujigen made
This is fair condition SE-500.
As you can see, this is last period products of Greco Branded Strat.
Kanda shokai stopped the Greco Brand Stratcaster in 1982, then, they started to sell
the Fujigen made Fender Japan. These are called as JV serial guitars.
When I get this guitar, the electric circuits were damaged. So, I have changed all pots to
New Gotoh made with Orange drop capacitor. The selector switch also changed to Oak Grigsby 5 way.
The output Jack is replaced with Switchcraft.
Pick Up are original. I didn't change them.
The condition of body is no good. There are many dents and scratches.
The paint (black) are bit shrinking (well, it shows a grain of wood).
The weight is 3.27 kg, probably SEN body.
The neck is 1P with 42.45 mm nut width and standard C shaped.
Truss rod is working. Frets are O.K. However, neck head paint were cracked (not into wood).
It doesn't look good, anyway.
We will ship the guitar with used Gig bag.
