Specifications (MFG catalog & Actual Check)

GRECO SE-500 1978 June Fujigen made 70's Model

It was fair condition SE-500. I rated it because the pack guard changed.
Therefore, old hole are there (fixed by small wood piece).
70's Greco Strat Pick guard is size different from Fender original.
So, we need some process even in cavity (put small wood there).

Greco renewed many Strat Model in 1978. This Strat is made in 78 but it should be
September made from serial.

The condition of body is not so so, just like vintage looks very much.
There are several dents and scratches. The weight is 3.18 kg, probably SEN 3P body.
The cavity is a bit funny. This guitar has 2 wire cavities.
It is center and side. Well, this is original construction.

It is pretty light weight body compare with other Greco Strat which were made in same
era. The neck is 1P (head area 2P), has standard C shaped.
Truss rod is working. I feel the neck is straight now.

I have replaced a few parts for this guitar. The following are parts changed.

1) Pick Guard --- Aluminum behind the pick guard, you could see some old screw holes
2) Screws --- Pick guard screws are stainless made
3) Hook up wire for output jack and ground wire (Belden and cloth wire)

Metal hardware is rusted as vintage. Functionally, these are O.K.

It is fair condition. Not suitable for collection, but good for playing!
We will ship the guitar with used gig bag.
Enjoy JV guitars
