YAMAHA Original design 1972 made SG-60

This is very old, original design Yamaha SG model.
This model was produced in 1972 only for a few months.
I like this design very much. It is really good original design.

When I get this guitar, the selector switch didn't work, so I've changed it to switch craft.
Also the output jack was changed to switchcraft too.

I also found out that this model should have plastic pick guard. But it was replaced.
Beside, this missing, this guitar is fully original.

The neck is straight. Only for 14F 1st string, it is a bit buzz. I think we could level, but I didn't it yet.
Maybe the bridge height will solve it too.

The catalog said the string length is 628mm (24.7 inch)
The finger board is feel like Gibson flat.
I'm not sure the body material. It looks like Maho, but I'm not sure. The Yamaha original catalog didn't say anything.
The body edge was sand papered as mat finish. It is not really bad looking.

The PU is like Moslite design. It sounds like Humbucking. The control is 1V, 1 Tone selector and Treble/bass tone.
I like this guitar pretty much.

It is 37 years old guitar, but still O.K. for playing.
The gig bag will be delivered with this guitar.
