SC-1200 1977-80 made Yamaha Super Combination model
This is SC-1200. Top model of SC series guitar. It was listed as JYE 120,000.
SG-1000/2000 were Yamaha Les Paul type guitars. SC series are like Stratocaster
model.
SC-1200 has 3 mini switch for 3 signle PU. On/OFF/Phase switch are for
3 PUs.
Sound like...Well it is SC sound. It is pretty clear sound for single ON,
Phase switch is like Brain May guitar.
But this guitar has much longer sustain, I feel
The body is Ash both sides. The neck is Maple and Maho laminated. Of course,
it is though neck construction.
The fingaer board is Ebony made as top model. The frets are proper condition.
The weight is 3.5Kg, the neck grip is like Fender C with 42 mm nut width.
Pretty smooth neck.
The brdige is hardtail type. It makes more sustain and clean/solid tone.
The condition is good as 30 years guitar. There are not serious damage.
However, it is vintage guitar not brand new!
I think all the parts are original.
Good tone, Guitar with proper price as vintage guitar.
This guitar will be shipped with 70's hard case (not Yamaha original).
